Combined track is a special type of track that can logically combine information from several tracks. For example, such track can visualise sites that are common (overlaps) for a set of specified tracks. It should be noted that required needed calculations occur on the fly for the selected region in the genome browser.
Combined track is created via toolbar action Combine tracks which is available when genome browser is opened in BioUML.
Combined track contains sites from all tracks and can display sites in two modes:
1. union - all sites from two or more tracks are shown
2. intersection - only sites that are intersected among all tracks are shown.
When combined track is selected in the repository tree, Edit button in right corner of info area will call the track editing dialog. The user can adjust colors for sites of each tracks, display mode and the distance between sites. Sites located within the distance are considered as intersected.
