Element type

Data elements you can see in the BioUML repository are of different types. The element type defines the following:
- Element icon;
- Context menu actions associated with the element;
- How the element information is displayed in the information box;
- Which document type will be used to display and edit the element;
- Which analysis methods can accept this element as an input and produce as an output;
- Which formats this element can be exported to.
